Michael Anthony Ruggiero

Michael Anthony Ruggiero, 58, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1954; son of the late Pasquale D. and Sophie B. (Holva) Ruggiero. . Michael began working for his father at Ruggiero Trucking at the age of 16. He worked with Ruggiero Trucking until he became Vice President of Ruggiero Excavators in 2006. He also served as the Vice President of MDGP LLC.

He dedicated his life to his family and will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kandy L. (Kemmerer) Ruggiero; daughters, Jennifer and her husband Michael Cabrera; Christina and her husband Ryan Steirer and Deanna Ruggiero; step daughter, Jamie and her husband, Kenny Heller and step son, Jeremy Duffy and his wife Lisa. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters, Denise Ruggiero and Donna Fox and her husband Gary as well as his brothers, Patrick J. Ruggiero and his wife Ann and Gregory M. Ruggiero and his wife Jodi as well as his grandchildren, Michael Cabrera III; Michael Pagan; Gavin Steirer; Jaiden Cabrera; Gianna Steirer; Ashlyn Cabrera; Colton Duffy and Kenley Duffy.

Michael will forever be remembered for his Friday night dinner dates with his wife, devotion to his work and most importantly for the love he shared with his family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 5-8 pm at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again on Saturday from 8:15-9:15 am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem PA 18018 on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
