Michael Anthony Sheets

Michael Anthony Sheets, 67, of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was born on May 24, 1947 in Chicago, Ill., son of the late Victor and Marie (Martino) Sheets. He was the husband of Marion (Munson) Sheets, with whom he celebrated seven years of marriage on July 7, 2014, and 20 + years of companionship. Michael was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Northampton Community College. He was a postal worker and served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and San Diego Chargers.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marion, step-son, William McNulty husband of Jennifer of Tobyhanna, and step-daughters, Erin Bitler wife of Robert of Allentown, and Catherine Bell wife of David of Kearns, Utah, step-grandchildren, Kara Bell, Blake Bell, Jacob Bell, Ashley Howard and Zachary McNulty and Aunt Elizabeth Daluisio and her children, Mary Ellen, Mark, David and Jimmy and Uncle Tony Martino and numerous Martino cousins.

Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday August 8, 2014 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30pm and 12-1pm Friday at the funeral home.
