Michael D. Schissler

Michael D. Schissler, 58, of Whitehall, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Skelton) Schissler and Jacob T. Schissler. Michael worked as a general contractor and was able to fix anything.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michael Schissler Jr., Tina Schissler, Erica Schissler, Jonathan Schissler and Sam Schissler; partner, Amelia Maldonado; sisters, Shirley Gonsalez, Rosemary Schissler, Maryann Schissler and Carmen Rivera; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Jacob Schissler; and sisters, Karen Chin and Betty Schissler.

Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. (Masks are required to enter the funeral home.) All other services will be private.
