Michael Ditalia

Michael A. Ditalia, 53, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Born on July 19, in 1971, he was the son of the late Rosemarie Brotzman (Ronca) and Alfred Ditalia. He was the loving husband of Lisa Z. (Zurla) Ditalia. Michael worked in industrial construction as a laborer for M.F. Ronca & Sons for the past 29 years. 

He was a kind, caring and generous man whose passion in life was music! He enjoyed many live performances as well as sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of artist history to all who would listen. He would have made an awesome radio DJ had the opportunity arose! Michael loved old movies especially on TCM and was an avid all sports fan preferring the Detroit Lions as his favorite NFL team, sorry Eagles fans! He had an amazing ability to remember all of his family and friends' birthdays and never missed an opportunity to celebrate them. He loved and adored his Golden Doodle, Luther.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisa Z. Ditalia; stepsons, Alexander Rives (Katie), Spencer Rives (Kendall) and Jeremy Rives; granddaughter, Parker; aunts, uncles and many cousins. He shared a special bond with his cousin, Michael Ronca, Jr. 

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 11 am to 2 pm at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm.
