Michael G. Cottage

Michael G. Cottage, 87, of Bethlehem, died Friday, October 2, 2009 in his home.

Born May 15, 1922 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Sherer and Thomas Cottage. He was married to Anna Persa Cottage with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Michael Worked for the Bethlehem Steel in the General Services Department for 40 years retiring in 1982. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, the Bethlehem MORA Club and the Hellertown American Legion..

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anna of Bethlehem, sons, Gary Cottage of Center Valley, PA and Timothy B. Cottage and wife Andrea of Duvall, WA, sister, Marie Shaefer of Florida, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Richard E. Cottage and a brother, Thomas Cottage.

A calling period will be held from 10-11 AM on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at St. John's Windish Lutheran Church 617 East Fourth St. Bethlehem, PA 18015, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in the church. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the church.
