Michael J. Borlodan

Michael J. Borlodan, 88, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Holy Family Manor. He was born March 5, 1926 in Bethlehem, PA; son of the late John and Julia (Mester) Borlodan. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Julia (Lang) Borlodan of 57 years.

He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and the Bethlehem Corp. where he worked as an expert welder. Michael was a former parishioner of St. John Capistrano.

Michael will be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Geza) Lang of Henrietta, NY; and Mary (James) Borso of Webster, NY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his siblings, John (Mary), George (Frances), Nicholas (Anna & Mary), Christine (George) Latta, Catherine (Frank) Korpics, Marie (Julius Zavar, Gene) Kovacs, Anna (Emerson "Mike") Grady, & Julia Borlodan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 where a service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities 530 Union Blvd, Allentown, PA 18109.
