Michael J. Brady Sr.

Michael J. Brady, Sr., 76, of Bethlehem, died Saturday March 22, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, on April 7, 1931, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie Metzler Brady. He was the husband of the late Helen I. Horvath Brady who died in 2005.

He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel working in the Rolling Mill Department as a Production Clerk. He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He was also a member of the Jefferson Democratic Club, North End Wanderers A.A., West Side Republican Club and the B.V.F.H.A.

He will be lovingly remembered by: son, Michael J. Jr. and his wife Laurie Gneiding of Lebanon, NJ; daughter, Karen Brady-Smith and her husband Benjamin Smith of Bethlehem; granddaughter, Kelsi Weber; brother, Joseph "Bud" Brady of Bethlehem. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy McCoach, and his brother, James Brady.
