Michael J. Mulicka

Michael J. Mulicka, 73, of Bethlehem Township,

died on Sunday, July 8, 2007 after being stricken while doing what he loved to do, playing tennis at Meuser Park in Wilson Borough.

Born October 11, 1933 in Bethlehem, he was the son of

the late Stefan & Teresa Krizanovic Mulicka.

Mr. Mulicka was a hard working, self sufficient man who enjoyed life. He served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After being discharged he worked at the Bethlehem Steel Co. while putting himself through Lehigh University, receiving his degree in Engineering, class of 1958. He was a lifelong avid fan of Lehigh football. He was a talented handyman, being well versed in carpentry, electrical and plumbing. He was known to build his own furniture and had put additions on his house.

He had worked as the operations manager at the former Durkees Famous Foods in Bethlehem for many years, supervising as many as 1500 workers.

He had been a member of the Society for the Advancement of Management and the

SERVICES

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethehem on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Funeral Services will begin at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in SS Cyril & Methodious Catholic Church, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem at 10:00 AM

Burial will follow at the parish cemetery, Bethlehem
