Michael J. Ondush, Jr.

Michael J.Ondush, Jr., 74, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born on December 12, 1947, the son of the late Emilia (Zamecnik) and Michael J. Ondush, Sr. He was the loving husband of Sharon M. (Krenos) Ondush.

Mike graduated from Whitehall High School in 1966 and Churchman Business College in 1968. After working at the Bethlehem Steel for 16 years, Mike went on to work for 25 years in the accounting department at G&S Fastening Systems. He enjoyed bowling, going on cruises and he was an avid Eagles, 76ers and Phillies Fan. He adored his grandchildren and would take any opportunity to spend time with them and his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Sharon M. Ondush; daughters, Michelle Pell and her husband, Rich and Melissa Rizzuto and her husband, Chuck; grandchildren, Sophie, J.C., Tyler, Richie, Andrew and Lexie and his best friend, his dog, Rocco.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with a funeral service to start at 10:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
