Michael Jay Shosh, 66, of Bethlehem moved on from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was the son of the late Rose (OConnell) and Michael J. Shosh, and the brother of the late Joanne Anglovich.
Born April 17, 1951, at St. Lukes Fountain Hill and raised in Bethlehem, he was a graduate of Liberty High School, where he met the mother of his children and high-school sweetheart, Gayle Brinker. After completing a four-year enlistment in the Navy, he returned to Bethlehem and attended Moravian College while starting his family.
Michael could be found enjoying time on the soccer fields of GBSL, BSC, and Lehigh Valley United, as well as at concert halls, National Parks, and on the beach. His love of the Lehigh Valley included work at the Bethlehem Council on Alcoholism, Air Products and Chemicals where he helped initiate the Employee Assistance Program, and other independent counseling work, the latest of which included providing EAP services for Lehigh County.
He will be greatly missed by his family: sons Tucker, Cameron and Casey, daughter-in-law Teague, granddaughters Riley and Katelyn, nieces Jill Stuart and JoJo Fye, nephew and godson Scott Anglovich, and their families.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
