Michael S. Modavis

Michael Shelbourne MoDavis “Mo”, 71 of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Doris (Sparkman) MoDavis. He was the husband of Patricia (Rosato) MoDavis; they were married for 50 years.

Michael lived much of his childhood in Dillon, South Carolina before his family moved back to Easton, PA. He was a graduate of Easton High School where he lettered in basketball. He worked for Prudential for many years as a both a Salesman and a District Manager. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, and loved spending time at Atlantic Beach, North Carolina with his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patricia; sons: Michael S. MoDavis II, Christopher J. MoDavis, Aaron T. MoDavis, and Peter C. MoDavis; 6 grandchildren; and his sister, Andrea Raykos.

Visitation hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. An 8 p.m. memorial service will follow, in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Peaceable Kingdom in Allentown.
