Michele C. Moser, 74, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on April 23, 1950 in Uniontown, PA to the late Rose and Michael Clearage. She was the loving wife of Ronald N. Moser, with whom she celebrated 20 wonderful years.
Michele graduated from German Township High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Education from California State College. She enjoyed a 32 year career as a speech therapist with Colonial Intermediate Unit 20. After her retirement, she worked part time for the Nazareth Area School District and Centennial School in Bethlehem as a speech therapist.
Michele was a devoted member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church where she served in various ministries including Eucharistic minister, homebound Eucharistic minister, CCD instructor, member of the Adult Retreat Committee, Women of Grace Retreat Committee and the Women's Book Club.
She was a caring, dedicated wife to Ron, and generous and helpful to anyone in need. She enjoyed spending time with her many close friends who were like family. Michele was an avid reader, followed the Pittsburgh sports teams, loved nature and all animals, especially their two Westie dogs, Mackenzie and Duncan, who are greatly suffering her loss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Kelechawa who passed in 1985.
Michele will be dearly missed by her husband, Ron; sister, Denise Bobincheck and husband, Rick; niece Jennifer Frantz and husband, Justin, and their daughters, Ava and Anna as well as by her step family of Jennifer Miller and husband, Tim, and their children, Nat, Dylan and Valerie; Ronald Moser, Jr. and wife, Kristi, and their children, Emma and Matthew and Michelle Grubb and husband, Jim and their children, MLE and Madison; her only surviving aunt, Carol Clearage and many cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Church officiated by Rev. Bernard Ezaki.
