Miguel A. Maldonado

Miguel A. Maldonado, 90, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. He was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico the son of the late Adrian and Eladia (Arroyo) Maldonado. He was the husband of Hipolita (Rivera) Maldonado. They were married for 72 years. Miguel worked as a chef for many restaurants while he was in Puerto Rico. He was a member at Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Hipolita, sons, Roberto Maldonado and wife Janet, and Carlos Maldonado and wife Maria, daughters, Nilsa Maldonado, Carmen Maldonado, Migdalia Maldonado, and Aracelis Maldonado, sisters, Maria Maldonado, Ines Maldonado, Aida Maldonado, and Carmen Maldonado, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Miguel Maldonado Jr., and brothers, Adrian Maldonado, Jesus Maldonado, and Felix Maldonado.

A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday August 2, 2022 and Wednesday August 3rd from 8:30-9:30am at the Connell Funeral; Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
