Mike John Pippis

Mike Pippis, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late, Gus and Jean (Petrakis) Pippis. He was the loving husband to June (Mehrkam) Pippis, they were married 47 years.

After graduating from Moravian College in 1961, he honorably served in the U.S. Army as a personnel specialist. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, followed by 12 years at Knoll. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and fantasy football.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife, June of Bethlehem; son, James M. Pippis and wife, Donna of Quakertown; and daughter, Jean D. Edgar of Nazareth.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
