Mildred H. Wilcox

Mildred H. Wilcox, 80, formerly of Bethlehem Twp. and a resident of Alexandria Manor of Bath, died on Sunday, August 12, 2012. She was born in Bethlehem on April 3, 1932; daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Yurko) Farkas. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert D. Wilcox.

She worked as a secretary at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. prior to dedicating her life to her family.

Mildred was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Timothy R. Wilcox of Palmer Twp.; Mark S. Wilcox of Bethlehem Twp. and Terry L. Wilcox of Pleasant Gap, PA as well as four grandchildren.

Mildred was predeceased by her grandson, Bobby Wilcox and her sister, Eleanor Palanchar.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 10 AM. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alexandria Manor 313 S. Walnut St. Bath, PA 18014 and/or Heartland Hospice 881 Marcon Blvd. Allentown, PA 18109.
