Mildred L. Dias

Mildred Dias, 90, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ the daughter of the late Marcelino and Gertrude Lopez. Mildred was the widow of Norman S. Dias who died in December of 1998.

She worked as a sales clerk for the former Hess Brothers Department Store. She was a former member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Mildred dedicated her life to her family and will be lovingly remembered by her son,

Dennis N. Dias and his wife Judy of Bethlehem, a daughter, Rita Samper and her husband Percy of Richmond, CA; and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Norma Dias.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem. Friends may call from 9-9:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
