Mildred W. Cericola

May 11, 1927 — April 30, 2020

Mildred W. Cericola, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 30, 2020 at Country Meadows Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel J. Cericola. Born in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late August and Wanda (Zbyszewski) Yankoski.

Mildred was a 1946 graduate of Liberty High School and in 1947, graduated from Bethlehem Business College, where she met her husband Danny. Her life centered around holiday gatherings and making memories with her beloved family members. She was a proud homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mildred enjoyed traveling to numerous cities and countries with her husband and close friends. She was a member of St. Simon & Jude Parish in Bethlehem and an active member of the St. Simon & Jude Church Seniors Organization.

Mildred is survived by daughters: Joanne Villani of Bethlehem; and Sandra Guglietta, and her husband Tom of West Hartford, CT; grandchildren: Vincent Villani of Bethlehem; and Gina Richardson and her husband, Andrew of Wexford; Devin Guglietta of West Hartford, CT; and Ryan Guglietta of Washington, D.C.; great grandchild: Roman Richardson of Wexford, PA. In addition to her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by sisters: Constance Rogalewicz and Geraldine Brennan.

Mildreds family is thankful for the kindness and friendship shown by her neighbors throughout the years. They would also like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the hardworking staff at Country Meadows of Bethlehem.

A private funeral service will be held at Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem with Reverend Abraham Ha. A celebration of life dinner and a memorial mass will be held at a later date.
