Milton J. Altemus

December 13, 1931 — January 10, 2015

Milton J. Altemus, 83, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was born December 13, 1931; son of the late James and Evia Altemus. Milton is survived by his wife of 39 years, Anna (Maurer) Altemus.

Milton proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He later worked as a tractor trailer driver for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Milton also tended bar and worked as a chauffeur. He was a lifetime member of the Roosevelt Democratic Assoc. and ICC both of Bethlehem Twp.; and the Monocacy Field and Stream. Milton also enjoyed his time as a member of the Bethlehem Twp. Vol. Fire Co.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Anna; stepchildren, Edward E. Forstoffer, Jr. and his wife, Sheila; Ann Marie Norder and her husband, Donald; and Michael J. Forstoffer, Sr. and his wife, Linda all of Bethlehem; eight step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 12-1 PM at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to celebrate Miltons life to immediately follow.
