Minta Acevedo

Minta Acevedo, 59, of Allentown, passed away on September 1, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Benedicta (Garcia) and Juan Acevedo.

Minta was affectionately known to many in her neighborhood as "Mom." She was a funny woman who enjoyed crafts and cooking for all of the family celebrations.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tony Pagan, Edwin Vega, Sam Vega, David Schwarcz, and Amanda Schwarcz; and brothers, Juan and Raymond Acevedo, sisters, Wyrma Acevedo, Pearl Roman, and Denna Lee Rivera; and 11 Grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held in the funeral home on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 10-11a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11a.m. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Fullerton Ave. Whitehall, PA.
