Monte Dirck Reichard

Monte "Dirck" Reichard,passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends at his residence in Kirkland VillageThursday, February 21, 2013. Dirck was born on March 21, 1926 son to Mike and Jean Reichard in ST. Louis, MI. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a brother and sister,and his wife of over 55 years, Elizabeth. Dirck was blessed to live a life filled with faith, family and friendship and survived by four children and 9 grandchildren.Prior to moving to PA, Dirck and his family lived for many years in Weston, CT where he and Betty were very active in the Westport United Methodist Church. His career as Agricultural Marketing Manager with Stauffer Chemical Co. included national and international travel. Dirck is a veteran of the United States Navy and a college graduate ofMillsap's College and Michigan State.He will be lovingly remembered by his love of companionship and conversation with always an extended hand to shake.
