Myron W. Reese, Jr.

Myron W."Pooch" Reese, Jr, 85, of Fountain Hill passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at Cedarbrook, Ft. Hill. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Myron W. and Sally Reese, Sr. Myron's wife, the late Dorothy M. Donchez Reese died in 1981.

He worked as an insurance agent for John Hancock Insurance, retiring in 1979. He had also served as the steward for the Ft. Hill American Legion and the Seidersville Democratic Club. He also spent many years as a security guard at Just Born. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during WWII. He was also a member of the Ft. Hill American Legion. He was an avid hunter.

He will be lovingly remembered by sons Joseph M. and his wife Candie of Bethlehem Twp., John and his wife Lois of Bethlehem, Charles and his wife Judith of Bethlehem and daughter Charlene C. Young of Ft. Hill. Also surviving are sisters Ruth Weber of Coopersburg and Katherine Leister of Quakertown, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Myron's life will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at 2:00pm. Visitation on Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00pm and on Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be private.
