Nadine A. Berback

Nadine A. Berback, 77, of Bethlehem, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Friday, May 29, 2015. She was born on October 29, 1937 in Bethlehem to the late Armand and Laura (DeWalt) Frankenfield. She was married to Thomas F. Berback, with whom she recently celebrated her 52nd wedding anniversary.

Nadine worked at St. Lukes Hospital and Cedarbrook nursing home, Fountain Hill, as a registered nurse. She loved her family and especially loved being a grandmother to her six grandchildren.

Nadine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas, children, Thomas J. husband of Enza, Stephanie Bour, Timothy J., and Kristine Kunsman; six grandchildren Jonathan, Lauren, Taylor, Ryan, Katie and Kyle; brothers, Robert and David Frankenfield and a sister, Patricia, wife of Richard Hartzell and sister-in-law, Cynthia, wife of Keith Turner. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Patricia and sister-in-law, Darlene Frankenfield.

Viewings will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8p.m. on Sunday May 31, 2015 and again on Monday June 1, 2015, from 9-10a.m. A 10a.m. funeral service will follow. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Memorials may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice
