Nellie Dorsey

Nellie Dorsey, 85, of Coopersburg died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born July 30, 1923 in Florida she was the daughter of the late Julia and James Johnson. She was married to her late husband Charlie Dorsey.

Nellie worked and retired from the nursing profession. She was a member of various social groups and loved to play bingo.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Raymond Green and wife Bernise of Easton, Elouise Coe of Maryland, Lilah wife of Silbert McKellar of Allentown, Penelope wife of Terrance Moore of Bethlehem, Charles Dorsey of Newark, Tommy Dorsey and wife Maria of Bethlehem, Jimmie Dorsey and wife Roxanne of Bethlehem, Timothy Dorsey of Bethlehem, brother, Henry Green of Florida, and sister, Rena Oxendine of New York. Nellie will also be remembered by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Nellie was preceded in death by her sons: Alfonso Smith and Willie Lee Green, sister, Julia Young, brother, Robert Green and a granddaughter Tiffani Neely.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on November 14, 2008 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018, from 5:00 PM 6:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 6:30 PM.
