Nellie T. Brita

Nellie T. Brita, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, daughter of the late Sebastian and Mary (Procida) Giordano. She was the loving wife of Guido P. Brita; they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this past February.

Nellie worked in the payroll department at Vornado and was a teacher's aide for the Bethlehem School District.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Guido, children, Joseph Brita and his wife, Deborah, of Bethlehem; Carol Nemeth of Nazareth; Thomas Brita of Colorado Springs, CO; Charles Brita and his wife, Julie, of Bethlehem; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Michele, Matthew, Johnny, Devin, Nicole, Danielle, Lauren and Ryan and her brothers, Anthony and Joseph Giordano. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert and Louis Giordano and her sister, Sarah Micacchione.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29th at

10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Hospice Development Office, 801 Ostrum St.,

Bethlehem, PA 18015 or to the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
