Nicholas Begovich

Nicholas Joseph Begovich, 91, of Hanover Township, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Moravian Village.

Born on July 12, 1933, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John Naletilic and Mary (Zegalia) Begovich.

Nicholas served our country in the United States Air Force---the military is where he learned the skills to become an electronic technician, and this would later become the foundation of his professional career. Nick owned and operated a radio paging company for many years, he was an entrepreneur at heart and took pride in his work. He was a faithful member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem where he also served in the 55 Plus Club with his wife, Martha. Above all, Nicholas was a family man and will be dearly missed by his children and grandchildren.

Survivors: daughters, Stephanie Begovich and her partner, John VanAnden, Pamela Begovich and her husband, Thomas Bailey, Margaret Schell and her husband, Dennis, and Deanna Krausse and her husband, Stephen; five grandsons, Brett and his wife, Marissa, Kendrick and his wife, Laura, Eric and his fiance, Adrienne, Henry, Nicholas, and Alec; and his sister, Anna Marie Hunsberger.

In addition to his parents, Nicholas is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha Anne (Marcinko) Begovich.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul C/O Notre Dame Church.
