Nicholas P. Ilich, 95, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Country Meadows.
He was born December 9, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY; the son of the late John and Catherine Zuvich Ilich. Nicholas resided in New York until moving to Pennsylvania in 1995.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Agnes T. Daly Ilich.
Nicholas proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He retired in 1980 as a Clerk for Merrill Lynch and Co. after 35 years of service.
Nicholas was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Marilyn Gregorek and her husband Raymond of Bethlehem; Patricia Monaghan and her husband Phillip of Mastic Beach, NY; Robert T. Ilich and his wife Ronnie of Palmer Twp and Nancy Cordisco and her husband Anthony of Bethlehem; as well as his 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Nicholas was also predeceased by his sister Helen Zuvich and his brothers, Anthony and John Ilich.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem
The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd Bethlehem PA 18020 on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 4-5 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 5 PM.
Burial will be held at St. Charles Cemetery in New York.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
