Norma Catherine Marth

Norma Catherine Marth, 79, formerly of Allentown,

died on Thursday, August 22, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at Kirkland Village of Bethlehem. She was born in Lebanon, PA the daughter of the late Norman Albert and Pauline Anna (Dressel) Baum. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen Anthony Marth. They were married 53 years before his passing in 2009.

Norma graduated from St. Lukes School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for Westminster Village for 25 years and also Holy Family Manor. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians in Allentown; where she was also a Girl Scout Leader.

Norma will be lovingly remembered by her children, Stephen S. Marth of Bethlehem; Deborah, wife of Frank Molchan of Bath; and Lisa, wife of James DeFrancisco of Bethlehem; her brother, Raymond Baum and his wife, Sally, of Lebanon; sister, Pauline Bricker of Myerstown, PA;

and her grandchildren, Stephanie, wife of Matthew Cesare, Michael and Eric Molchan and James, Jr. and Chelsea DeFrancisco.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians, 444 N. Jasper St., Allentown, PA 18109. A viewing will be held, Sunday,

from 6 to 9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem and Monday, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Allentown.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 617 A Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055 or to the church.
