Norman Walter Stark, 87, of Bethlehem and later Moore Township, died on December 17, 2021. He was born on June 5, 1934 in Bethlehem to the late, Ernest L. and Anna Mae (Sarsfield) Stark and step mother, Mary Irene (Connelly) Stark. Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta (Ortwein) Stark.
Norman proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Okinawa. He retired from the City of Bethlehem where he worked in facilities maintenance department. Norman was caring and always there for his family when they needed him. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Thomas Ridgick (Kimberly); Mary Ann Gruber; Teresa Demasi; Norman Stark, Jr. (Candace); Vicki Bartholomew (Botch); and sister, Donna Schumacher; brother, Bernard Stark; as well as his grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Norman was predeceased by his siblings, John W.; Ernest L, Jr.; Gladys A. Transue; Laura C. Nigrelli; Romaine R.; Clifford M.; Anna Mae Pulley and Richard A. Stark.
Friends and family will be received Monday, December 20, 2021 from 9:30-11:00 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to follow at 11:00. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
