Obdulia "Lydia" Ortiz

Obdulia “Lydia” Ortiz, 86 passed from this life into her eternal heavily home on Saturday January 22, 2022.

Lydia was born to the late Andr Garcia and Monserate Ortiz in Yuco, Puerto Rico on September 1, 1935. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Aurora Garcia, Tazio Garcia, Carmen Alicia, Ramon Ortiz, Victor Ortiz, and Pablo Ortiz

She united her life with the late Eugenio Laboy in 1956 and they were blessed with daughter Myrna Acevedo (Jorge), Carmen Acevedo (Jose), Luz Vargas (German), and Haydee Acevedo (Robert)

Lydia gave her life to Lord Jesus on 2003 and baptized in November 12, 2008. She was a devoted member of Iglesia Smyrna del Seor since 2003.

Our dearest matriarch will be loving remembered by her grandchildren Christian Acevedo, Alberto Montanez, Mayra Rodriguez, Jasmine Gonzalez, Rolando Montanez, Jose Acevedo, Jessica Zayas, Peter Tirado, Brenda Ortega, Maria Acevedo, Edwin Rios, Jackie Acevedo, Robert Acevedo, Jennifer Aviles, Joel Acevedo, Jonathan Acevedo, Amaryllis Rivera, 69 great grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Iglesia Smyrna del Seor located at 1537 East 6th Street Bethlehem PA 18015, on Wednesday January 26, 2022. Calling hour will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Service of Victory from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Lydias body will await for her Savior at Union Cemetery of Hellertown PA.
