Olga Clayton

Olga Clayton, 89, of Fountain Hill, died on Friday, November 20, 2009 in her home. Born in Youngstown, OH on June 15, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Demetrius and Anna Levkanich Kreshka. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Clayton, Sr.

Olga was a 1942 graduate of the Philadelphia Children's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at the Boston Children's Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Nurse Corps during WWII. She was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Clayton, Jr., daughters, Carol Ann, wife of Timothy Edinger, and Joan Deyo, brothers, Emil and George Kreshka, grandchildren, Ben, Nicole, Genevieve, Emily, Chris, Eric, and Kevin, and great- granddaughter, Lylianna.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Basil, Vladimir, and Alexander Kreshka.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem, where a viewing will be held on Thursday, December 3rd from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow, 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home and 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
