Patricia A Glenn

August 7, 1943 — June 15, 2010

Patricia "Patty" A. Glenn, 66, of Hellertown died at home with her husband and son by her side Tuesday night, June 15, 2010. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Ethel Reiss Wachinski. Patricia was the wife of Thomas R. Glenn. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this past May 7th.

Patricia worked as an administrative assistant for the former Bethlehem Steel Co., Queen's Nutritional Products and Lucent Technologies/Agere. She retired in the early part of this decade.

She graduated from Liberty H. S. in 1961, and over the years enjoyed card playing, ceramics, golf and travelling. She and her husband Tom traveled just about the entire country.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tom, son Mark P. Glenn and his wife Melissa and their son Eli Glenn of Boulder, CO, brothers Joe Wachinski and his wife Donna of Minot, N.D., William Wachinski and his wife Penny of Bethlehem and a sister Cynthia, wife of John Estojak of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by her son Michael J. Glenn on April 17, 1987. Although not present physically his spirit has been a daily force in the Glenn family.

Funeral services will begin with prayers at 9:15am Saturday, June 19, 2010 in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem followed at 10:00am by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ursula's Catholic Church in Fountain Hill. Calling hours will be Friday, June 18 from 7-9PM and Saturday from 8:15-9:15AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please direct memorial contributions in Patricia's memory to The Children's Hospital Foundation, c/o the Glenn's, 2800 17 St., Boulder CO 80304. This is a foundation that conducts research on Patricia's grandson's liver disorder, Biliary Atresia. All contributions will be presented at the annual Biliary Atresia Fundraiser in CO this July 16th, which will be attended by Thomas, Mark, Melissa and Eli
