Patricia A. Horwath

Patricia (Pat) A. (Albert) Horwath, of Lower Saucon, passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill at the age of 70. Pat was born in Allentown, PA on March 11, 1953, to the late Zoltan M. Albert and Pauline I. (Cowling) Albert.

Pat graduated from Freedom High School in Bethlehem in 1971. It was here that she would meet her husband, Barry P. Horwath. The two would then go on to marry on May 6, 1972, and recently celebrated 51 years of marriage.

After high school, Pat went on to work at S&H Green Stamps. She later moved on and became a bakery manager for both Laneco and Ahart’s Markets, where she would work for the majority of her career.

Pat will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Barry P. Horwath, her mother, Pauline I. Albert, daughters, Patricia (Patti) A. Smith (Drew) of Lower Saucon and Heather M. Harper (Frank) of Warrington, PA along with her beloved dog and companion, Lucy. In addition, she is survived by her 3 sisters and 3 brothers: Linda Muzikar (Julius), James Albert (Donna), Cindy Weeks (David), Brenda Simons, Brian Albert and Michael Albert (Michelle). She also has four wonderful grandchildren, Eric, Emma, Joshua and Ellie, who will always love their Grammy with all their hearts.

A viewing will be held on 6pm-8pm Wednesday January 31, 2024, and Thursday February 1, 2024, from 10am-11am followed by the funeral service at 11 am at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, with a burial service at Union Cemetery in Hellertown.
