Patricia Dorothy Smith, 78, of Bethlehem, PA passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born on February 7, 1938 in Westbury, NY, daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Place) Samuelsen. She was the wife of Thomas D. Smith Sr. They celebrated 49 years of marriage this past March. Patricia was an accountant for Atlantic Springs in New Jersey. She attended Nursing School in Jersey City, NJ. Patricia loved quilting, knitting, and gardening. She was lovingly known as mom, grandma, nanna, and G-dawg. She was also the eldest, elderberry.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas, sons, Edward Marko Jr. (Debi), Thomas Marko (Anita), Kevin Marko (Anne Marie), Peter Smith (Sandi), and Michael Smith (Denise), daughters, Laura Marko-Pursell (Bruce), Jeanette Rivituso (Bill), Kate OBrien (Rob), and Rosemary Kluxen (Mark), sisters, Margie Maina, Martha Warner, and Maryann Dietz, 21 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Edward Marko Sr., son, Thomas Smith Jr., daughter, Brenda Smith, and brother Teddy Samuelsen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11a.m. on Monday September 12, 2016 at St. Annes Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. A calling hour will be held from 10-11a.m. at the church. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricias name to the Mission of Magadan c/o Archdiocese of Anchorage 225 Cordova St. Anchorage, Alaska 99501.
