Patricia I. Wildgen

Patricia I. Wildgen, 69, of Walnutport and formerly of Nazareth, passed away surrounded by family, on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg.

Born March 9, 1953, she was a daughter of Mildred Woomer-Hudak and the late Edward Woomer.

A graduate of Freedom High School Class of 1972, Patricia went on to earn her Associates Degree in Dental Hygienics from Lehigh Carbon County Community College in 1975.

Following graduation, she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Peter Yaswinski, until she took leave to care for her children. Patricia later returned to work as a shift supervisor for CVS in Cape May, New Jersey and Allentown, PA, until her retirement in 2021.

Outside of work, she loved reading, walks, and spending time at the beach. Above all, though, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael H. Wildgen; and one daughter: Melissa Wildgen.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her mother: Mildred Woomer-Hudak; two daughters: Michelle Bittenbender (Jim) and Cindy Wildgen (Mark); one son: Michael Wildgen; three brothers: Ed (Karen), Joe (Vicki), and Dennis (Linda) Woomer; two sisters: Bridget McEnrue (Martin) and Kathy Crago; three grandchildren: Shaun and Austin Bittenbender and Riley Sadel; several nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved dog, Rocko.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, on Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A second visitation will be held, at the funeral home, on Monday, April 11, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
