Patricia M. Donchez

Patricia M. Donchez, 75, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Saturday September 9, 2017 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA. She was born on January 22, 1942 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Herishko) Donchez. Patricia taught school at Pennridge High School for 22 years and taught 12th grade English Literature for 11 years at Freedom High School. She took an 11 year sabbatical between those years and was involved in the performing arts. She was involved in many plays including leading roles in Hello Dolly and Chicago at various local playhouses. Patricia enjoyed worldwide travel including various US states, Europe, and Africa. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Moravian College, and received her masters degree from Lehigh University.

She will be lovingly remembered by her companion, Mario Medici, cousins, Tom Herishko, Bill Herishko, and Diane Pershing.

Funeral services will be held 11am, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9pm, and Thursday morning from 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
