Patricia M. Priestas

August 21, 1931 — December 30, 2011

Patricia "Patsy" M. Collins Priestas, 80 , of Bethlehem died on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Gracedale in Nazareth. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Geissinger Collins.

Patsy was the widow of Edward "Shag" Priestas who died November 1, 2004. They were married 51 years.

Patsy worked for the former Bethlehem Contractors as a secretary for many years and then worked for Potts' Doggie Shop as a clerk for 25 years. Patsy was an avid bowler in the former Hi-Lo Bowling League at the former CIO lanes. Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she loved being with her family.



Patsy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Susan M. Snyder and her husband Earl of Bethlehem, Cynthia A Kurtz and her husband Kevin of Whitehall, PA two sons David A Priestas and his wife Jennifer of Bethlehem and Edward Priestas , two sisters Katherine Collins of Bethlehem and Barbara Lambert of Bath, PA, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Patsy is predeceased by her husband, parents, a son John E. "JoPo" Priestas , brothers Robert , Thomas and John "Jack" Collins and sisters Nancy Hujcs, Betty Jane Reiser.



Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM and Friday January 6, 2012 from 9 to 10 AM followed by Funeral Services at 10 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow service at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John E. Priestas Soccer Scholarship Fund, C/O Liberty High School, 1115 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18018
