Patrick D. Mcardle

Patrick D. McArdle, age 90, of Bethlehem, PA died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. He and his late wife, Helen (Bender) McArdle were married for 61 years.

Born in Bethlehem; he was the son of the late Peter McArdle and the late Iva (Artz) McArdle Hatch. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Colesville.

Patrick proudly served during World War II as a Military Policeman. He graduated as class president from Moravian College in 1949, with his Bachelor's Degree. Patrick worked as chief sales procedures analyst for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation prior to retiring in 1981.

Patrick is survived by his son, Thomas of Beaverton, OR, and daughter, Patricia Nicholson of Folsom, CA; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, William, James and Michael.

Services: Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, Colesville, PA at 11 AM. There will be a gathering at the church at 10:30 AM. Interment immediately following the Mass at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
