Patrick J. Santoro

Patrick J. Santoro, 73, of Bethlehem passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born on July 14, 1948, the son of the late Joseph E. Santoro and Yolanda (Cappelli). He was the loving husband of Ramona (DiFalco) Santoro.

Pat proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. For 28 years he worked for Maiers Bakery, retiring as Director of Human Resources and he also worked at Giant Food Stores. Pat enjoyed reading mystery books, especially by James Patterson and David Balducci, fishing, golfing and trips to Potts Hot Dogs. He was very involved with North Central Little League as a board member for many years. His dry sense of humor and long storied jokes will be missed by all who knew him well. Pat loved being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Ramona Santoro; children, Dana Kowalchuk (Christopher), P.J. Santoro (Corrie Tice) and Nick Santoro; grandchildren, Tyler, Alexander, Emma, Collin, Anthony and Jett; great-grandson, Matteo; sister-in-law, Susan Santoro; 9 nieces; 5 nephews; aunt, Lorraine Cappelli and cousins, Judy and Lisa Cappelli. Pat was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Santoro.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
