Paul O. Buchold

February 25, 1924 — August 31, 2018

Paul O. Buchold, 94, passed away Friday, August 31st at St. Lukes Hospice in Center Valley. Born in Bethlehem he was the husband of Margaret (Kuplen) who died in 1983 and was the son of the late Paul and Lena (Benicke) Buchold. Paul proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He saw action aboard LST 344 at major landings of North Africa, Sicily and Normandy. After the war he worked 38 years for Mack Printing Company, Wilson Borough, before retiring in 1986. He enjoyed woodworking, raising tropical fish and spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons, David of Williams Township and Michael and his wife Peggy of Nazareth, three grandchildren: Mathew, Karen and Christine and two great grandchildren: Leah and Thomas James IV. Paul is also preceded in death by his brothers, Stewart and Fritz and sisters, Elsie Considine, Margaret Fisher and Anna Balum.

Services: Visitation is at Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem on Wednesday, September 5th from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM. It will be followed by internment at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Pauls name to the charity of ones choice.
