Paula Santiago

Paula Santiago, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Born on September 17, 1935, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Santana Andino and Agapita Escalera.

Following her marriage to her late husband, Felix Santiago, who passed away on January 4, 1990, she became a homemaker and seamstress.

She was a very active member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Paula enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and helping others.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by two sons: Felix Ramon Santiago and Renee Santiago; ten siblings: Julian, Nicolazia, Victoria, Juana, Juanita, Marcelina, Josefa, and Ray Andino, and Paulo and Ramon L. Cruz; and one granddaughter: Maria.

Paula will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Emma Santiago (Ramon Ramero); son: Sammy Santiago; grandchildren: Ricardo, Gloria, Felicia, Reyna, Zuleyka, and Sammy, Jr.; fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00pm. A second viewing will be held at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 East Fourth Street, Bethlehem, on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 8:45am until 9:45am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, in church, at 10:00am.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.
