Peter D. Facchiano

Peter D. Facchiano, 89 , of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at his Residence with his loving family by his side. Peter was born in Bethlehem and was the son of the late Michael and Arcangela DelGrosso Facchiano and the husband of Rose J. Bove Facchiano with whom he celebrated their 63rd anniversary this past September.

Peter was a foreman for the Pembroke Dress Co. in Bethlehem retiring in 1985. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Peter was a Scout Leader for Troop #41 from the Edgeboro Democratic Club, and an avid gardener, he was a member of the MORA Club in Bethlehem.

Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rose, sons Michael P. Facchiano and his wife Carolyn, Vincent T. Facchiano and his wife Susan all of Bethlehem, and a daughter Rosalie Marques and husband Anthony of Lilburn, GA and two granddaughters Toni Marie and Lia and a grandson Peter..

He is predeceased by his parents and two sisters Madaline Cotugno and Theresa Popp.

Friends may call on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, November 13, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 10:00 AM.
