Peter J. Ginesi

Peter J. Ginesi, 97, of Hellertown died peacefully Thursday, February 15, 2024 surrounded by loving

family. Born in Clark, NJ he was the son of the late Rose Servino and Louis Ginesi. He was married

to his lifelong partner Theresa M. (Demyan) Ginesi of Bethlehem.

Peter graduated from Lehigh University, where he was very proud member of the 1950 undefeated

football team and a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He served his country during World

War II in the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant. Peter was the owner and president of Hershey’s Ice

Cream distribution in New Jersey. After retiring, Peter became a serial entrepreneur, enjoyed

playing golf and sharing meals with friends and family. He especially enjoyed and took pride

watching “his boys” from the sidelines for all of their games, as he was their #1 fan filling him with

years of joy. He was legendary for his ability to tell stories, which friends and family were fortunate to

hear multiple times.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Susan Ginesi and Kathleen Kobliska wife of Paul,

brother Anthony Ginesi, grandchildren, Paul husband of Angela, Peter husband of Britney and

Michael husband of Jennifer, and ten great grandchildren, Paul, Case, Annie Court, James, Nathan,

Lucy Demyan, Wells, McKinley, Francesca and Michael. Peter was preceded in death by his 12

brothers and sisters.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 20th at Assumption BVM Church, 4101 Old

Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015, from 11-11:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at

11:30 AM.
