Philomena M. Limpar, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Michael and Sadie M. Cavote Rotondo. She was the loving wife of the late Martin F. Limpar.

Philomena was a wonderful homemaker, excellent seamstress who loved to knit and crochet, a proud volunteer at Musikfest and a former member of the Senior Center in Bethlehem. She was a life-long member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Philomena will be lovingly remembered by her children, son, Martin M. Limpar of Bath; daughters, Phyllis Limpar, Lucille Hughes and Bette Limpar all of Bethlehem; her sister, Josephine, wife of Walter Stocker of Bethlehem; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel G. Rotondo and two sisters, Theresa Vasko and Angeline Hill.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, January 09, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Visitation will be held, Friday, from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Burial will be follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 212 East Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
