Ralph H. Meixell

Ralph H. Meixell, 74, of Sun City Hilton Head, Bluffton, SC, formerly of Bethlehem and Springfield Twp. Coopersburg, PA; died suddenly Saturday, July 19, 2008 at St.Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was born in Bethlehem the son of the late Donald N. and Mabel F. King Meixell. He was the loving husband of Frances E. "Franny" Yuhasz Meixell. They would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this October 9th.

Ralph was a 1952 Liberty High School graduate. He worked for Bethlehem Steel for

43 years and retired as the Manager of Building Services for General Services.

He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Bluffton, SC; and a former member of St. Isadore of Quakertown and St. John Capistrano of Bethlehem. Ralph was also a former member of Springfield Lions Club, Silver Creek Athletic Association, Bethlehem Elks Club and presently a member of The Veterans Club of Sun City, Sun City Theatre Club, The Sun City Republican Club and the Bocce Club.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Frances, of Sun City Hilton Head, Bluffton, SC; his son, Jeffrey G. Meixell, Sr. and his wife Michele, brother, Ronald N. Meixell, sisters, Jeanette Kovacs and Nancy Radogna all of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Jeffrey G. Meixell, Jr. of Connellsville, PA; Nicole E. Meixell, Joshua D. Meixell, John J. Meixell and Zachary D. Meixell all of Bethlehem and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica M. Meixell in 2004.

Services: A Prayer Service will be held at 8PM, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
