Ralph L. DeAngelis, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Joseph and Lucy Selvaggio DeAngelis. He was the loving husband of the late Rosemarie T. Dougherty DeAngelis.
Ralph worked as a contractor stone mason , The Bethlehem Area School District and City of Bethlehem. He also worked for the Saucon Valley Country Club as a deliveryman.
Ralph honorably served his country during WWII as a Merchant Marine in the US Coast Guard.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Joseph M. DeAngelis & his wife, Nancy, of Bethlehem; daughter, Lucille E. Otto of Bethlehem; brothers, Samuel DeAngelis of Pahrump, NV; Albert DeAngelis of Nazareth; sisters, Loretta Thoder of Bethlehem;
Dolores Tomaino of FL; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl DeAngelis and his sister, Eva Tertusek.
Services will begin on Thursday March 25th at 9:15am at the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad Street Bethlehem and followed by a Mass of Christian
At 10:00 a.m at Holy Infancy Church 312 E. Fourth Street Bethlehem.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 24th from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
