Randy L. Skinner

Randy L. Skinner, 64, of Bethlehem; passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. He was born in Honesdale; the son of the late Raymond N. Skinner and Dolores (Brill) Skinner of Honesdale, Pa. He was the loving husband of Suzanne M. (Wagner) Skinner. They celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary this past July 23rd.

Randy worked for the former Western Electric and retired from Verizon. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was stationed in Germany and received the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the NRA. Randy loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing golf.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Dolores, wife, Suzanne, sons, Christopher and his wife, Jaime, and Marc and his wife, Jacquelyn, all of Bethlehem; four brothers, one sister, two grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father, two brothers and one nephew.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. A calling hour will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday morning in the church. A viewing will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
