Raul Sandoval

Raul Sandoval, 83, of Whitehall, formerly Bethlehem, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Lower Saucon Township. Born in Ayutla, Mexico on May 24, 1934 he was the son of the late Daniel Sandoval and Maria L. Martinez. He was married to Margaret (Ramos) Sandoval with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage this past February 15.

Raul worked and retired from the Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of Holy Infancy Church in Bethlehem. Raul was a kind and gentle man who loved his family and friends especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter. He would always take time to appreciate nature and could often be found feeding the birds by his house.

Raul will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret, son, Arthur Sandoval, daughter, Marta Sweeny, sister, Raquel Martinez Rodriguez, grandchildren, Elyse and Addison Sandoval, great granddaughter, Scarlett Judith Shannon and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Carmen Judith Sandoval and his brothers and sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family care of the funeral home.
