Raymond F. Roebock, Sr.

Raymond F. Roebock, Sr., 76, of Bethlehem died on Thursday, January 8, 2009, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

He was born on April 26, 1932 in Allentown, the son of the late Alfred and Ellen Pfeiffer.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie M. Annas Roebock.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Raymond retired from the Bethlehem Steel Co. after 40 years of service. He was a lifelong member of the USWA.

Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Diane Roebock of Bethlehem; son, Raymond F. Roebock, Jr. of Knightdale, NC and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Tyler all of Knightdale, NC. He is also survived by his sister Jean Raub and her husband Earl of Winter Garden, FL and his brother Dennis Pfeiffer and his wife Rosie of Tatamy as well as his beagle, Phoebe.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where the family will receive friends on Sunday January 11, 2009 from 7-9PM and again on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home.

A graveside service will immediately follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden St. Bethlehem.
