Raymond Mitchell

Raymond Mitchell, 83, of Bethlehem, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at Cedar Brook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill. Born November 9, 1929 in Easton, PA he was the son of the late Grace (Smith) and Charles Mitchell. He was married to Anna (Dreisigmeyer) Mitchell.

Raymond worked at Just Born Candy for 30 years. Raymond was an avid bowler and was one of the founders of the Lehigh Valley Blind Association Bowling League.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Anna and a stepson, Raymond Dreisigmeyer.

He was preceded in death by his five brothers and two sisters.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9-10 AM followed by a service at 10 AM. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, in Allentown, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Lehigh Valley Branch 617-A Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055 or to the Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired 614 North 13th St. Allentown, PA 18102.
