Raymond R. Pasquel

May 22, 1945 — April 25, 2014

Raymond R. Pasquel, Jr., 68, of Moore Twp., died at his home on Friday, April 25, 2014. He was born in Yonkers, NY; son of the late Raymond R. and Lorraine (Kelly) Pasquel. Ray is survived by his wife of 46 years, Stephanie (Chomko) Pasquel.

Ray proudly served in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam and later served as a member of the Seabees in the US Navy Reserves. He retired from AT&T where he worked in the Building Maintenance Dept. Ray was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Bethlehem where he enjoyed making pierogi. He volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 50. Ray also enjoyed being a vendor at local flea markets.

Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife; son, Raymond R. Pasquel, III and his wife, Karen of Upper Nazareth; daughter, Christine Pasquel of Fayetteville, NC; twin brother, Thomas and his wife, Fran of Ossining, NY; sisters, Katherine Mercurio and her husband, Tony of White Plains, NY and Gail Stelluti and her husband, Rob of Ossining, NY as well as three grandchildren, Austin, Timmy and Nicholas and his nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 5-7 PM and again on Tuesday from 9-10 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10 AM. Both viewings and funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 980 Bridle Path Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Interment will be held with military honors at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
